'Aileen' is a twenty-year-old blogger from the Philippines who is happily single and living life at its best.
She was born and raised in Batanes but currently living in the bustling city of Manila where she is a superwoman corporate woman by day, a blogger and homebody by night, and a party animal come weekends.
She likes lazying around, traveling, eating different cuisines, writing nonsense as well as those with sense, being weird, laughing ridiculously, city lights, partying out late, blah blah blah.
She is interested in fashion, music, arts, desserts, internet, dancing, sleeping, and singing. And oh, she misses Batanes with a passion. ★

This is really one of the scariest pictures.
This looks apocalyptic.
oh my god
this seems so unreal.
holy fuck.
Holy crap. That’s a good photo though.
MAD BUS IS MAD.
London riot.
Personally, I think we should all just participate in a voting event if we’d be in favor or not of the prospect of divorce; even the RH Bill.
I believe it’s about time that the Church permits the people to choose for themselves…
There was only supposed to be 50 Elite Fukushima Workers going back in the Nuclear plants, doing a suicide mission to save their country…
But then, 130 more Nuclear Plant workers decided to join them.
Now that, is BOLD.
They know they’re either going to die, or make it out alive with Thyroid Cancer, and yet, they still did it.
I will forever respect these anonymous workers, may their families be proud.
I really don’t want to make any comparisons or any of that sort, but if such a tragedy like this happened to us here in the Philippines, I highly doubt that anyone would just go up and volunteer—I rather envision people running out of the country and hiding in safety. I hope I’m wrong though.
Anyhow, my prayers and salutations to these very brave souls—very brave indeed. They’re willing to sacrifice themselves in order to save the future of their country and their fellowmen. This is extremely heartbreaking nevertheless, and I hope that they be saved.
I’ve been seeing these kinds of posts around… and if you ask me, I think it’s BULLSHIT.
If you genuinely care, or if you really want to help, you need not REQUIRE people to do such. Just go ahead and donate what you CAN donate. Period.
So, this page caught my eye when I was reading People Magazine. This couple right here is Allen & Violet Large.Allen is 75 & Violet is 78. They met in 1964. Ever since 1983, they have purchased two lottery tickets every week. Last year, Violet called the lottery hotline to check out the winning numbers, & turns out they won. They won $11.2 million dollars. & guess what they did with it? They donated it all to doctors, their own country, family. & kept none for themselves.
They say they are content with their ‘87 Dodge Diplomat Suburban & their 148 year old Victorian home,
Here’s a quote from Violet near the end:
”Money can’t buy happiness. We have everything we need; I have Allen and he has me.”
The world needs more people like them.
Sadly, I think there’s only a few who are the same as they are because unfortunately, we are all ruled over by greed and lust for money…

13 year old Jordan Rice died in the Queensland floods trying to save his brother. This is the face of a little hero. I have tears in my eyes, this sweet little angel missed out on his whole life from this tragedy.
I heard about this story on the radio. He told the rescue team to take his little brother who was pearched up on his shoulders. They rescued his little brother but by the time they came around to rescuing him he’d already passed away.
I couldn’t not reblog this. He is a hero and everyone needs to know the braveness and love he had. My prayers are with this boy and his family.
Reminds me of Ondoy. I heard the one in Australia is much worse. :( Keep them in your prayers, you guys. Thanks.
This is sad but still very heart-warming. :(
I’m not really the type of person who puts effort into knowing the latest world news or anything ‘cause it’s mostly about depressing shiz—but ignorance is not bliss. So I learned about Australia’s flash flood occurrences and that’s just horrifying. They’ve got it worse than us. (What’s happening with the world? Sheesh)
Anyhow. Let’s pray not only for this boy but for the other victims as well.
