Part of Me Trailer - Katy Perry
I am definitely going to watch this! I love Katy Perry and that wonderful experience that I had when I watched her concert here in Manila was really unforgettable to me. And I just… I just love her!
He’s not exactly role-model-material, but boy, can he dance! And there’s no denying how I freaking love his music. ♥

Manny Pacquiao would never have the same effect that Iron Man does, but this strip made me giggle. XD
So they did get Shawarma afterwards??? LOL! Look at them!!! Look at Thor, being well… Thor. And then there’s Hawkeye being such a dining badass, with his feet up on Black Widow’s chair. And of course, Iron Man; that classy son of a gun. And then, and then… gahd, they’re all in character. LOL. But Loki….! They should have brought him—poor guy. (It’s evident how I will keep on reblogging anything cool about The Avengers ♥)

Beautiful and talented woman. YES.
Just arrived home after watching the Hunger Games at Shangri-La Plaza! ♥ So of course, gratitude should be in order so much thanks to Nuffnang, Schick, and Banana Boat—not only for the free tickets but for the goodies too! ;)
My way to Shang was really stressful though, because OF ALL DAYS, my trader over at London had to ask a LOOOOOOT of questions a while ago. So I left the office around 6:30PM and then suddenly my BB phone beeped, showing me that the movie was set to 7:30PM…….. I PANICKED :| Because the beep came while I was in a traffic jam at Edsa—immediate stress, annoyance, irritation, stress, stress, stress. (At this point, I was running through a long list in my head as to why I hate the Philippines. LOLJK). I quickly messaged my best friend, Celine, who was waiting for me at Shang, and I told her that she should just try and ask for the tickets under my name if the movie was already starting. THANKFULLY, she told me that it was 8:30 naman! OH SWEET JESUS. I THREW MY UNRELIABLE BB PHONE OUT OF THE CAR WINDOW—NOT. LOL the blame is actually on me because I put the wrong time. T_T
So moving on, I had a less stressful ride to Ayala upon realizing that it was still an hour away—but it became a stressful time again once I witnessed the MRT lines. Aaaargh… Just to cut this short: I hate Friday traffic. With a passion.
Once I was in the Cinema of Shang and met with Celine, I have to admit that I was sort of mentally and mildly ‘fangirling’ in my head while we were waiting for the program to start, becauseeeee I saw a lot of familiar bloggers! Haha! Saab, Helga and her pink hair (Ditz Revolution), and Camie and her red hair LOL (wild-spirit), among others.
And my reaction to each of them?
TO SAAB: “Is that her boyfriend?”
TO HELGA: “Fluffy… cute… pink… hair…. want…. need…”
TO CAMIE: *looks at her walking in her high-heeled boots all night long* “I feel your pain, girl. I feel you. I really do.”
HAHA! But anyway, on with the movie!!!!
Overall, it was… AWESOME. It felt a bit rushed, yes, but that can’t be helped especially if you’re someone who has read the book. There would be some parts where you’ll be all, “Hey this should have happened before that!” “Why are we already in this scene?” “Oh gosh, it’s already the games??” “Where’s the part where—” Okay, I know you get the point. But as for the overall aesthetics, design, setting, people, etc. etc. etc…. it was… wow. Really. Almost every single thing was just how I expected it to be!
…The Capitol people looked like flowers.
As for Katniss and Peeta? I SHIP THEM.
Actually at first, I didn’t find Josh Hutcherson as the good lead for this. I mean there were parts where if I put his face and Jennifer’s face side by side, my mind would start thinking: OH HOLD IT PEETA, DON’T EAT HER FACE! And yes, that is me, being horribly rude and judgmental; but Josh’s face is really big if compared to Jennifer’s. BUT ANYHOOOO, come the flirting and romantic parts? I was all giddy and shit. Really. I was. And I haven’t reacted like that for a long time to a movie, not even The Vow—so I know that this was A-plus!
Aaaaah, I so want to spoil some parts of the movie to you guys—but I’ll let you watch it for yourself ;) Just be wary because the camera can get really shaky; to show, I think, the real ‘view’ or ‘experience’ of the characters. Which is good! But for me, there were times when it was shaking too much that I don’t even know what’s happening anymore. CAMERA MAN, GET YO SHIT TOGETHER DUDE!
But there! Hunger Games Part 2… please come soon. Really, really, soon!!! I wanna start seeing the part where the war starts. Whoooo boy.
