Really now… I feel incredibly homesick :(I need a vacation and the first thing on my list right now, as in now, is my hometown!!!!
I miss the clean air! [Manila’s pollution is killing me, really]I miss the sandy Boracay-like beaches where I don’t give a fuck if I emerged out as a black woman after a day-long siesta of swimming under the scorching sun! -breathes- I also miss my favorite place which only I know of! I miss my friends! I miss biking around town without a care in the world! I miss rolling down hills, chasing down cows, being chased down by cows, dropping off cliffs, climbing up cliffs, climbing down cliffs, asdasjkdfhaskhdkaskd!
I miss… I miss… oh good lord… I just want to visit back there again :(

I reread this entry of mine, months back! HAHAHAHA Nostalgia kicks!

…because it shaped up who I am. I may have came from the province, but high schools are always the same. There are the popular girls, loners, mean girls, and whatevers; double it up with life’s playful games and there you have it. We all went through it. And tonight, I want to recall it. Because I fear I might forget. :P

FIRST YEAR

I was a complete tomboy. :)) I had short hair, I didn’t care about my looks—damn, I wouldn’t even care about my clothes if it’s totally creased or not. But what kept people noticing me was my last name. Yep. Not only because our family business is one of the most flourishing entities at that time, but also because our family history is a very attractive topic to gossip about. Anyway. There.

All I had in my mind was to just go through high school peacefully—I still had some issues, personal issues, to deal with, and I had no time for other things. I just wanted to get out of that place; soon and fast.

I miss Batanes and my childhood days

I’ve just been going around watching documentaries of Batanes, my hometown! AND GOD, I am so missing it!

I still have a clear memory of my childhood back home! I usually spend my days outside of the house, playing with my playmates either around our plaza or at the school grounds! It was always so fun except of course for the times when my mom sees the scratches and wounds that I’ve gained after a day of playing outside. Back then I regarded those as marks across my legs as signs of bravery—I treated it as some sort of trophy. HAHA BUT NOW? HOOO BOY! NO! I really don’t like the marks left behind! :)) But still, it’s fond to remember how I got those marks on my legs.

I can say that I was a carefree child then! Usually, after playing outside, I sneak into our store and grab a few candies and chocolates for me to eat. And because I was nice (yet naughty all the same) I leave a note with my scribbled handwriting of what I’ve eaten! My dad would always see it (or our yaya if she happens to be the one manning the store) and dad would usually frown, but laugh thereafter! :)) More of my naughty acts were playing pranks on my grandmother! HAHA! As well as to my other older cousins! You would usually hear them say: “Si Aileen na naman yan!”
